Service Description¶
The interface to fetch and validate certificates.
Methods
Methods defined in this Service: Certificate_Validate, Certificate_ValidateViewComposerLocalToVC
Validate the certificate of the specified server.
Privileges
Privilege | Description |
---|---|
GLOBAL_CONFIG_VIEW | Global configuration (read-only) is required to validate a certificate. |
Parameters

_this | ManagedObjectReference | A reference to the Certificate used to make the method call. |
spec | xsd:anyType | attributes needed to connect to the server. The valid types for this parameter are: 1 2 |

CertificateData | null iff successful else CertificateData describing the server certificate |

EntityNotFound | Thrown if any specified entity cannot be found. |
InsufficientPermission | Thrown if the user does not have sufficient permission to perform the operation. |
InvalidArgument | Thrown if any specified argument is invalid. |

UnexpectedFault | Thrown if an unexpected error occurs while performing the operation. |
